Embry Riddle Aeronautical University has been applying their aerospace background to the field of advanced vehicle technologies with involvement in the EcoCAR competitions. With our experience in aerospace and advanced clean energy technologies it was fitting, that last week, the EcoEagles went to Kennedy Space Center to give a presentation about our EcoCAR 2 status and to visit their new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designated facilities. Having all been inspired by the shuttle program as children; it was an honor to be asked to present at Kennedy Space Center.

It’s been a busy week for the EcoEagles Outreach team.  Aside from preparing for the Winter Workshop in Austin, TX this coming Wednesday, the EcoEagles were busy recruiting, hosting and formulating outreach events.
